The Kinetic Information
Take
-
Ricoh Silicon Valley has created an impressive offering that combines some
of the best elements of technology today: a strong automation component,
network connectivity, Web-based access, and powerful archiving and retrieval
capabilities. However, brand recognition can be a double-edged sword. The
name Ricoh resonates loudly with buyers of office technology, but will
IT managers recognize the company as a credible innovator with respect
to complex process and infrastructure issues? The answer depends largely
on the companys ability to co-market successfully with solution partners
such as Kofax, which in July announced a scan-and-capture solution combining
eCabinet and Kofaxs Ascent Capture technology.
