Winners Announced Awards Honor Superior Applications for their Business Effectiveness Waltham, MA (October 31, 2003) Kinetic Information today announced the winners of the 2003 Process Innovation Awards. Created in 1996 to honor superior applications for their business effectiveness, and now co-sponsored by IMERGE Consulting, six Innovative Solution Awards were presented to organizations that have implemented applications that are returning significant business benefit. A seventh Award the prestigious "Vision Award" also was presented to honor the technology initiative that exhibited the greatest potential for transforming a business or social process. Judging was made especially difficult this year because we received so many highly qualified entries," said Steve Weissman, president of Kinetic Information. "It's evident that despite the economy or perhaps because of it organizations are actively driving to make significant process improvements. Winners were selected based on process improvements that led to gains in at least one of these areas: productivity, profitability, ability to adapt to market conditions, or competitive standing/market share. Judging was performed by a panel of independent industry analysts that included Michael Bragen of BMC\research, Bud Porter-Roth of Porter-Roth Associates, Tom Elliott of Strategy Analytics, Don Post and Arthur Gingrande of IMERGE Consulting, and John Parker of Kinetic Information. The Award-winning organizations have established new performance benchmarks for the various solutions they successfully implemented," said Don Post, Partner of IMERGE Consulting.
